The children’s literature world is mourning the loss of Maurice Sendak today. Prolific, controversial author of provocative and riotous picture books, he is sure to live on in the hearts of generations to come. We’ll have an exhibit of all our Sendak books in the Picture Book Area for the next few weeks, along with the return of the stuffed monster from Where the Wild Things Are.
